The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has been the first institute to have carried out a scientific, systematic and rigid classification of diamond quality, commonly accepted throughout the world. Because of this, gems certified by this institute are recognized on the market at a higher price than those certified by other institutes. The criteria used by other institutes are considered ‘softer’; the International Gemological Institute (IGI) and Hoge Raad voor Diamant (HRD) are internationally recognized certificates.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css_animation=”fadeIn” font_family=”Palatino Linotype, Book Antiqua, Palatino, serif” font_size=”d:32|tl:28|tp:20″]\n
